Kirsty consults in a range of areas, including:

Food Allergy

Common triggers of food allergy are egg, cow's milk, peanut, tree nuts, sesame, soy,  wheat, fish & seafood. 

Food chemical sensitivity

Natural & added substances in food can trigger reactions e.g. MSG, colouring agents, salicylates, preservatives. 

FODMAP intolerance

Carbohydrate malabsorption can trigger stomach pain, bloating or diarrhoea in some people.

Coeliac Disease

An immune system response to foods containing gluten, causing inflammation in the gut.

Other Adverse Food Reactions

Other adverse food reactions including: oral allergy syndrome (OAS), FPIES, eosinophilic oesophagitis (EoE), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), & food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis (FDEIA)
